Shahriar Amin is a dynamic startup growth specialist and business strategy consultant with over two decades of corporate experience across Asian and North American markets. He currently serves as a Growth Coach at VOLTA. Shahriar began his career at Grameenphone (a Norwegian telecom giant), quickly rising to Head of Brand, where his visionary work earned national recognition for repositioning the company into an iconic brand.
He went on to bring his strategic expertise to the tobacco industry, driving a remarkable 44% sales growth for Philip Morris International in Bangladesh and leading marketing and sales for MARLBORO across Hong Kong, Macao, and Bangladesh. Twice ranked in Philip Morris’s global top 20% of managers, he was celebrated for his impactful brand engagement. At Japan Tobacco International, he led GTM strategies with a $25M rollout budget, spearheaded a digital transformation that saved $2.5M, and built robust digital activation capabilities.
Over the past six years, Shahriar has focused on mentoring tech startups across B2B SaaS, Fashion-Tech, and Health-Tech, helping ventures secure valuations of $3–$5 million, obtain seed funding, and scale effectively. A respected startup influencer and thought leader on LinkedIn, he has also taught as an adjunct faculty member in digital marketing and delivered over 2,000 hours of in-person and online training. Shahriar is the author of two Amazon-published books—one on digital brand-building and the other on content marketing frameworks.
