Entrepreneurs in Action Video VignettesIf you are thinking about opening your own business and want to get a glimpse into the entrepreneurial experience, these videos will inspire you to action. The world of entrepreneurship can appear overwhelming when you are not all that familiar with the process. We hope that these videos will give you the insight you are looking for into how you might bring your vision to life. These entrepreneurs are people in our community who have made their ideas a reality…and if they can do it, you can too! Entrepreneurs in Action is comprised short vignettes which capture what makes someone a successful entrepreneur and the role CEED and other like minded community organizations played helping to launch the businesses of five talented entrepreneurs. The road to success is different for everyone, but these business owners have their own tips and tricks to how they were able to ensure their goals were achieved. Our goal with this video project is to share the inspiring journeys of entrepreneurs who have paved the way with their unique products and services to display the strength of leadership within The business owners featured show that anyone has the capacity to become an entrepreneur with passion, a vision and determination. These entrepreneurs discuss how they value the importance of networking and the role of professional and social connections in reaching their goals. They display our vibrant and thriving culture with their enthusiasm for their work and their commitment to client and customer satisfaction, and enrich the lifestyles of Nova Scotians in ways that support and sustain everyone in the community, from the restaurant industry to deck design. Ten to twelve minute versions of the videos will be featured as a part of the E12 curriculum focused on promoting entrepreneurship education among students and providing educators with a valuable resource. The awareness that is raised through these videos is meant to encourage youth to consider entrepreneurship as a viable career option. The new E12 curriculum is set to be launched in May so stay tuned! CEED works with a variety of aspiring entrepreneurs, many whom go on to become very successful in business and make a strong impact on their community.
