At CEED, we’ve seen that women have been gaining ground for over five years running, as the majority of business start up clients.

"This is where the good news comes into play, for our communities and the people affected by the work of not for profits. In spite of restrictions, cutbacks, and continued limited resources, the people behind, and inside of the not for profit sector are proven to have greater levels of commitment to the work they preform, and can be engaged to very high levels if their work involves a cause they believe strongly in. And face it - most people go to work for not for profit organizations to make a difference. Burnout can be high, and with the aging population in Nova Scotia - it's going to get tougher and tougher to recruit and retain talent, as the labour pool continues to shrink."
